Nervous Day

Well today started off well everything was fine, Mitch was at childcare. I dropped him off about 6:30am it was freezing cold. I rugged him up and put a scarf around him over his nose and mouth as I knew he had a cold so I was weary that his asthma could pop up anytime. I noticed last night that his coughing increased so we were back on his puffer again.
Anyway dropped off Mitch and he was a little teary but was distracted with toys and waved me off to go to work. So off I went. He was down to 4 hourly ventolin at the time. I ran the childcare about 9:30 - 10am and he was fine. He coughed now and then but was happily playing.
At 12:30 DH rang me to say that childcare had contacted him to say that Mitch was coughing non stop and getting stressed, wheezy and fatigued. I knew an asthma attack was happening and I was trembling at work. I had no idea if any of the staff knew at what level to do what I had to get to him. I rang them to up his ventolin to 1/2 hourly and to give authorisation (after DH contacted the Doctor and hospital that gave the ok to administer the medication) for them to administer predisolene till I got there to pick him up.
The girls at childcare were wonderful, they shuffled staff so Mitch could have one on one with a staff member to look after him. The director then helped out in the Toddler room where Mitch is. It was great reassurance that staff members stepped in the way they did for him. The director even told me that she has a daughter with the same problem so it soothed me to know she knew exactly how I was feeling. I was a little teary only at what they did for Mitchell. They were there for him and did what they could for him.
Even though many people aren't thrilled with ABC childcares, I am happy to say that the one Mitch goes to are quick to respond and reassuring. It has strengthened and calmed my thoughts that I can trust them.

Mitch is at home now after lots of running around on my part to get all things. We have now hired a nebuliser for him to use for a few days till things subside. But its going to be a wreck to do it every 2hours. But hey I'd do anything for him if its going to help him and get him better.
So one trigger is having a cold and then being exposed to icey cold air.
So I'll rug him up warm. My heart has finally calmed down and just giving him hugs and kisses.

What a day, and a little scarey at that.

It's coming

A new blog and a new direction for me will be coming shortly.
I have been contemplating this new thing for a while and just waiting for some things to finalise first before I let you all know. I don't want to jump the gun just incase something doesn't come through in time.

To coinside with this new direction is a new blog that I have been working on for 3 - 4 weeks now. This new blog will feature my new direction in life, scrapbooking and my family. I'll keep you posted here on this blog until its time to change over. I'll put the link up here soon so you can change your links for it.

Thankyou to all who read my blog its been a bumpy road at times and you've probably read parts of that. I am hoping that the changes that I have made will prove beneficial to me and my family and that this is a sign of good things to come.

Due to very personal reasons I have decided let go of my DT position at Basically Scrapbooking. They have a great new website with lovely members.

Happy Dance

I got accepted in the Design Kit Team for Scrap with V. And a whole load of my friends are there too. At Scrap with V the Design Team will make up Kits to sell and used the kits to create something that others can do in the kits. I so look forward to this.
Good friends KerryL , Donna C and Karen B made it there too.

Going to be great fun.

The Scrappers Hub - Gone

We were expecting it to come any day now and I guess it now has.
The website now replaced with - cannot find server - brings it finally upon us that it has now been put to rest. What a great website it has been both as LC's Creative Scrapbooks and The Scrappers Hub. It was my home where I learnt so much and my passion began.
Thankyou Lynn and your Team of Angels for a great site that we'll surely miss.

To the girls on the site I loved every minute, getting to know you, becoming friends and having great laughs. To those I have now met its made it just more special.

Sad Week

Had a big scare this week. Had to rush Mitch ( 2.5yr old) to the Hospital as he had an Asthma attack. It was the first time. I didn't know what to do. We stayed in Hospital for 3 days, he was on a nebuliser and oxygen. Went through Action plans and management but it still frightens me. They thought he was getting pneumonia too so he is on antibotics too.
Mitch my little healthy pumpkin was such a shock to find out he had Asthma. I had my tears on Wednesday as I was in such disbelief.

I am just glad he is on the mend and things are settling down a bit.

And the other thing is The Scrappers Hub is closing down any day now. Which is sad as that is where I found my scrapping feet. LC's Creative / The Scrappers Hub has been my home since March 2006.

There has been many rollercoaster times, we made it through the big one and survived but now its time for different reasons from the first time it was going to close I guess its time. I loved the creation of the Hub and what we were all doing. Many doors have closed and I thought what am I going to do next. Then the flood gates opened and new things presented themselves. Now a little overwhelmed. But thankful.

The daggiest thing in my music collection: Not mine but its in our combined collection (DH's and Mine) - Mr Big.

My partner's most annoying habit: Not hanging up his towel so he uses mine.

What stresses me out: Going Shopping with both Hayden and Mitchell while they are fighting.

If I could change the world I would: Abolish all nuclear weapons.

My favourite household chore: washing

If I had fifty bucks to spend at Target I would head for which section: women's clothing I don't normally get the chance to buy for myself.

In my next life I would like to come back as: Someone who can make a difference in the world

My least favourite celebrity: Paris Hilton, Talk about dragging your parents name into the mud. You hardly hear Boo about her sister.

Latest Creation

This is my latest creation for Basically Scrapbooking. This is my OTP DT project. A bandaid tin and tag album of quotes to give to a friend.

I was a bit worried with the colours at first. But it turned out just nicely.

As some know orange is not my favourite colour to use with scrapping but is ok in small doses.

You can see the album in detail in my DT Gallery at Basically Scrapbooking. It has the pages inside the album to view.

I have not done a tin before but this one is growing on me.

Layout of my Nephew Leo

This is my nephew Leo, isn't he gorgeous in his Tigger outfit?

This was my inspiration Challenge at Basically Scrapbooking.

To do a layout using a colour you find difficult to use.

Mine is orange obviously can't for the life of me make it work in other layouts. But this one turned out alright.

Leo is about 7 months old in this photo. Gorgeous thing.

I hope to do some more layouts of him later too.

He is 2yrs next month. Wow time flies.

Anyway I'll upload more Layouts as they are done.

Another DT Layout

Here is my other DT Layout for 'Meant to Be Scrapbooking'.

This is my MIL's cat now. He was originally mine.

He is treated like a king and just laps it all up.

Very spoilt he is. But thats ok.

Stay tuned to next months Layouts. I wonder what theme I will get next month.

I hate working with orange as I find it very difficult to match with. And find it hard to be creative.

Working on an Off the page item at the moment so that is looking interesting. And working on the Masters tasks too. Busy busy. But loving it. When your scrapping mojo is back - Just keep scrapping.

Saturday Night PJ Party. Lynn love your Fluffy slippers.

Had great fun and it was nice and cosy to be in PJ's and the heaters were on.

We were all having a pretty good time chatting, being funny and scrapping.

Poor Jane was not in this photo . But the next one she was. Got mum to take the photo for us. But we did have a lot of fun.

Design Team Layouts

These are my 2 Design Team Layouts for Basically Scrapbooking - "You Relax" and "Sea & Sand".

Both using Carolea's Creations Printed Paper and Cardstock. Few added things like Lil Davis Glitter Garden alphas, 7 Gypsies tags, Stamping Up! stamps, Fancy pants Dapper titles and tags, EK success stickers, rope, circular tags. I have an Off the Page project still to do but waiting on some extra bits to arrive but I will upload that too later.

really love these pictures of Mitch he has a gorgeous smile and a beautiful boyish stature.

Isn't this dog gorgeous? He has been bugging me for a dog for ages but we're not quite ready for one yet.
I love this picture of Mitch by the sea. It was his first time. And he just stood there contemplating what to do and just watching the waves and water around his feet.

I don't think he liked the feel of the water might be a bit gritty because of the sand. But the curly blonde hair and blue eyes he will be a little surfie guy that is bound to break hearts.

He has such a happy nature about him.

Also I had fun with my new Stampin Up! set of stamps. I really impressed with them. Ordered Sunday and today they arrived ( Friday ).
Anyway I am really liking the challenges Basically Scrapbooking are giving me with the papers here. They were really tricky to begin with.

Now the next set of Design Team Layouts are for "Meant to Be Scrapbooking and Papercraft".

Lovely bunch of ladies there. And some of the DT members are my old mates from The Scrappers Hub some members some DT's that I worked with.

My theme was Cats. I have 2 of them at home here. A boy called Tealc and a girl called Sabrina. You can tell Sabrina is my cat as I just love her photo here.

I also have a layout of my old cat Oscar which was my parents / my cat then I moved out and it became theirs. Now Oscar lives with my Husbands mum up in Clare and he loves it there.

Can't remember all the printed paper I used here but some were Basic Grey.

Also the one with Mitch and Vanessa hugging is really cute. Used lots of Junkitz stuff with that one.

I enjoyed doing that one. I hand stitched the flowers on the left hand side too. Took a bit of work but was impressed with the outcome.

I'll put the other cat one up tomorrow when I find the photo.

Anyway I'll put up some more Retreat photos too later.

Hope you like everything so far and that its been entertaining for you.

And maybe some inspiration to get scrapping if you haven't already.

Its is late now so its time for me to turn in and go to bed.

Sunday Retreat

Early morning again. But when I arrive I found a group of people in the kitchen. They didn't belong to us. Anyway I checked it out and all is ok I know a few of them. A few ladies were very interested in scrapbooking and asked if they could come in for a look at the layouts and off the page items. She was mighty impressed and took my details down as she was interested in me helping her out.

Anyway the rest of our little scrappy community decided to grace themselves not long after. I think some of us here really buggered as Donna, Kirsty and I decided to go back and talk till 3am. Oh well, we kept going. Just funny, and having our PJ party so you'll have to see photos of that too. lol

Next was Jane's Stampin Up! Demonstration. All I can say is just wow. We had a ball at this. Never thought stamping was so much fun. She taught us a few techniques and we made a few cards each. Then after that everyone put in an order. Wow this would have been Jane's best month with all of us putting in big orders.

Finally it was time to start packing up and saying our goodbyes. That was hard as only just met in real life for a few days to end up going home and back behind our computer screens chatting again. But I wouldn't have changed it for the world. Its been an honour to see you all and it will be even better when next year the Retreat moves to Brisbane ( Brisvagas so I am told. ) and meet others that I have not met yet.

The Retreat

OMG what a weekend that I'll never forget.

To be surrounded my lovely ladies some that I have known online for a year and the new ones I felt I'd known you for a year too.

Friday- Our Meet and Greet night. Lots of hugs going around, smiles, laughter, maybe a few tears of joy too. Just an awesome feeling to meet such wonderful ladies. My Mum ( Rosemarie ) helped out with the catering and it was just awesome food. Donna made everyone a apron for the weekend. And some handed out some goodies too.
Friday we just scrapped and talked the night away and went back to our bungalows at Adelaide Shores they were gorgeous and so comfortable. 3 bedrooms so each of us could have our own rooms. 2 rooms had 2 single beds in each and the other room was a double bed or queen bed. We had 3 of these Deluxe Bungalows and we did feel special to have such lovely accomodation with our own rooms. Anyway we all were back at our bungalows about 12:30am - 1am. I was buggered but still so wound up with excitement I couldn't sleep till after 2am. Then up again at 7am to get back to the hall to make Brekkie for everyone with my Mum helping me.

Saturday - Was a jam packed day. But so good. After brekkie we had the awesome Kathie Link.

My gosh what a class. She was superb. Professional, interactive, warm and friendly and made each of us special with her lovely comments. Her journalling class was what we really needed as I think most of us had forgotten the importance of this. It has opened our eyes and we have learnt so much from this. A big thankyou to you Kathie. You have made a huge impression on us all and have created many new fans. And thankyou for sharing some of your work and books and knowledge.

After the morning class we had a very yummy lunch and then got ready to head off to Scrapbook Station. With 11 of us in the shop with general customers we quickly filled up the shop and our baskets. Hope we didn't clean you out too much Janine and Karen. Poor Karen was flooded with with us all there but hey I don't think we disappointed with the amount we all spent there. Just that everyone will now need to hide their next credit card statements from their partners before they have heart failure. Anyway everyone had a good time shopping around and getting a few things for the shoe class later that night. By the time we left and headed back to the Glenelg Scout Adventurous Activities Hall it was just about time for the next class with the lovely Steph Caskey-Devlin.

This class with Steph was a real wow factor as no one at the Retreat has done this sort of technique she was showing us. It was new to us and very intriguing. Everyone made gorgeous layouts. Steph was lovely, very professional, warm & bubbly. She came around to see how we all were doing and had lovely comments for our progress. Some Layouts were adapted for a more boyish layout and they too looked gorgeous. You'll have to look in the Hub Members Gallery. They are stunning. Everyone was having a great time in the class and got a group photo of our finished class layouts. Thankyou so much Steph for taking the time out, for putting together a great class and all the background work and running around you had to do. Trust me its truly appreciated especially heavily pregnant. You are an awesome lady your work is stunning and I am in awe of your work. The impression that you left us with is " Oh I need to try this again." and " never tried napkins before will have to try again". I think everyone looks a napkins differently now especially in a scrapping sort of way. This is the gorgeous layout I created from Steph's class. Its a picture of me when I was about 12 - 15mths old and I picked some gerainiums for Mum.

Here is the class Photo of Steph's class too. We all definately enjoyed it. Many girls said they just learnt so much.

It was such a good time. After a lovely dinner. We had Lynn sister in law Jody pamper us with massages and facials. It was divine. Most enjoyed the pampering. Steph you should have stayed for a pampering it was so relaxing. Like our aprons? Thanks Donna you talented girl.

Anyway after dinner and the pampering we sat down for another class ran by me. We were to do an off the page creation. And we made shoes. I have some pictures care of the photos at the Scrappers Hub, of the shoes we made. Poor Lee ( our residential Hub Rebel ) forgot to cut a little more out the template and her shoe looked like a wedge lol. Had a giggle at that but then good ol' Karen helped her out and fixed it to make a high heal like all of ours. Here are our shoes.

Oh these were just gorgeous, the pink one by itself is a friend Beth from the Scrappers Hub who did one previous to the retreat. After this we just kept scrapping till probably 1:30am then headed back to the bungalows.

1 Week till the Retreat

I can't wait for the Retreat its been a long time coming but so excited.
Anyway if anyone just wants to come down for the Meet and Greet on Friday and do a bit of scrapping its $30 includes light meal and wine and champers. We have a challenge class by Vicki or you can just do some scrapping. Don't worry we have heaters there. So we will be toasty.

Found something interesting

I was a bit skeptical at first but its really good. I do survey's online. And get paid for it. I sometimes do focus groups with Magregore Tan Marketing too and get cash in had for that too. I don't do MTM all the time but every now and then maybe 1 - 2 times a year if the topic qualifies us.

Its pretty easy to do as they send you emails with the survey's and you can choose whether you want to do it or not. Price on survey's varies from $2 - $75. The more you do the survey's the more they pay you. So its really interesting.
Thought I'd give it a go anyway.

Scrapbooking Masters & Adelaide Retreat

Have you seen the latest Scrapbooking Memories Magazine. Pg 60 with all the details. I thought I'd give the Masters a go. Halfway through my storage OTP item. Really excited about it. I don't care if I don't get in. I just love the tasks.
Does anyone know when the coupon comes out online. As I've checked their website and nothing yet. It would be awesome to be one of 10 to win. But I don't hold my breath as there is so much talent out there. I am really buzzing of late with the DT positions and this.

The Adelaide Retreat going well and picking up more guests so it will be fun.
23 days to go. Very exciting. If anyone is interested in going for the weekend or for one day log onto The Scrappers Hub and go into the forums. Scrap Natter has all the details.
Got Kathie Link and Steph Caskey-Devlin doing some great classes. Plus some other challenges throughout the weekend will be fun. Friday night meet and great will be a hoot. Can't wait to meet everyone.

OMG I got it, I got it!

Oh wow. Last week I was notified that I got the DT position at 'Meant to Be Scrapbooking'.
But tonight I also received a photo call from the the owners at Basically Scrapbooking and I have got in there too. Wow!
I am so excited. I have been so worried because I didn't think I was good enough for only doing scrapbooking for 1year.
I can't wait. So I am on the forum at Basically Scrapbooking and will upload my LO's etc... soon.
Meant to Be don't have a forum yet but will soon. My fellow Hub Scrappers got into the DT at Meant to Be so I look forward to that too. Congratulations Lee, Kerry and WendyG.

Its going to be so much fun.

I'll put some of my DT LO's on here once I've done them.

Design Team Advertisements.

Recently I've applied for a few DT positions. I am hoping I get one of them.

I've applied at Blue Eye Dezines - They also produce some of their own brand stock too. They have awesome products. They are from NSW.
Another Place is Meant to Be - The are a cool scrapbooking shop in QLD. A fellow DT that I know has also applied to this one. Good Luck girl! You have an awesome talent.
And the last one is at Basically Scrapbooking - They are just starting out on the web with an online shop now.

The shortlisting will happen soon so I am crossing my fingers.
I should know in a few weeks time what the outcome is.

I'll keep you upto date and let you know how I go.

Been too Long between Posts

Sorry, things been a little flat out.
But I am back now. Found something interesting too.

Hi a friend at The Scrappers Hub found this site that lets you submit your LO's for publishing to different magazines. It lists heaps of them and it keeps a register of your submissions so that you know what you have submitted. I thought that you would like to have a look see. I thought this was really cool and have joined.

Had a great Easter, hope everyone did too. We went upto Hallett not far from Mt Bryan and Burra in SA's North. Each year Venturers ( 15 - 18yrs old ) (they are a level of Scouts) Hike for 4 days earning points along the way. Its a bit of an orienteering thing as they have to plot their own course with the details they are given. DH is the Branch Commissioner for Scout Radio Activities Group SA and was running the communications for the event. I helped out with some of the catering. DS's were at their Gran's at Clare enjoying some time with her and Grandpa Mark from Thursday till Saturday Lunch then DH and I picked them up to go back to camping at Hallett. My boys love camping and Hayden can't wait to start Joey Scouts. (has to wait till he is 6yrs ).

On Sunday morning DH hid the easter eggs outside around the tent. The boys loved looking for them. Hayden wanted to do it all again Monday. Sorry sweetie Easter Bunny only comes one day. lol
Now we are home all safe and sound again.

Another Sketch

Thought I'd upload another sketch for you.

These are not my sketches but have permission to display them.

I think they are awesome and give me much inspiration.

When trying to think of a Layout. I love circles at the moment. They are interesting and challenging. Really out of my comfort zone.

But its fun.

I like this Sketch as it incorporates both straight and curve lines.

I'll have to see what I come up with.

Anyway its late now and I must go to bed I have 4 kids in the morning to look after.

My own 2 plus friends daughter is over here plus will get another little girl early tomorrow too. And DH is going out to Woodhouse to do some scout stuff for most of the day. YAY! Oh but they will be fine.

Nite to all the night owls that are up still its almost 1am here in Adelaide.

Altered Letter Swap @ The Scrappers Hub

This is the Altered Letter Swap I created for Mistra at The Scrappers Hub. I used two wooden M's and joined it together with organza ribbon. I altered both sides of the M's.
To see comments: Go Here. The idea was to make or alter a monogram letter for a secret person you got the colours they liked and what letter it they'd like. You knew who you were creating for. But the person to receive it had to guess who made it for them.
This one was a challenge to find Lime green, Hot Pink and Orange together and these Daisy D's were perfect.

The Scrappers Hub has great swaps to be apart of. Our next one is a card swap. Make it easy next time a birthday or anniversary pops up you'll have a gorgeous handmade card to give them. Come and join us for the next swap starting this week.

A Dream

Something I'd love to do would be to work or teach at a Scrapbook Store. Combine my love of Scrapbooking and working together. I already do some classes here and there but would love to build up back to full time work again and contribute to the home again.
And maybe work on next year doing up the old study to a little nursery / guestroom for maybe the year after we'll try again 3rd and last time.

I am back into house mode in wanting to get cupboards and shelving. For my birthday I think I'll just ask for money to go towards my new scraproom furniture from IKEA. As my room here so cramped.

Gosh I'm 29 in a few weeks. Time creeps up on you when your not looking.

Lea & Lynn are hosting a Scrapbooking Retreat in May, from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th, 2007.

Join us for a weekend at Glenelg full of fun, prizes , games and scrapping. You'll make new friends and we have a PJ party planned for Saturday night. Low Day

Today is a low day for me. Somethings have caught up with me a bit and feeling a bit tired.

But I plan on doing some catch up housework and some more scrapping. Been enjoying that lately.

Been doing a few layouts recently and I might pop some of them up. This one is " Living in the 70's a 'blast from the past' theme competition from The Scrappers Hub.

Its been quite calming. Just need to get a radio into my room here. Plus clean it up.

This next Layout is from a sketch on my Angel Creations Blog for a competition anyone else can join in.

I just love Mitch and they way he tries to eat. I have so many of these photos. A mess but very cute. I used the Prima Stone Rose Printed Paper and the matching flowers. Then added some bling to all the flowers. Alphas are Lil Davis Glitter Garden. And used some BG Rubons in white. Plus thought I'd try some doodling on the page a little.

Haven't go used to that yet, just doodling all over the page. LOL

This is from a Letter Swap I was involved in and this was made by my good friend Vicki for me. I think it is lovely and will hang it in my scrap room.

Its already after 10am and I better get moving for the day. Hope everyone has a lovely day today. I looks nice outside a little windy and cool but the sun is out.

A Reflection of a Friend.

Went to the funeral today of my friend Dani. It was very nice, small but lovely. Michelle did a nice little talk about her too.
I am at my friend Michelle's place at the moment, she lives close by and I am going to head home soon. I don't know anyone at the funeral other than Michelle and I stayed a short time with the coffee and biscuits they have after. I have met Dani's parents and sister before but not very often as we only caught up mainly after she move out of home to down south. She was 18ish when she did.
It's been a difficult morning. I was invited with the family and Michelle to the viewing of Dani.
Inside I felt like I needed to go to prove to me and accept she is gone but also the chance to say a personal goodbye. Another part of me thought this was for just family. Michelle and Dani's sister (Michelle also - we call her Mish) held my hands and walked in with me. I looked at her mum tears streaming down her face, I just hugged her and said "she was one of my bestfriends and I loved her dearly". I looked down at her, she looked beautiful. And was wearing a lovely peaseant top and skirt she loved so much. She even had my friendship ring I bought her for her 18th birthday left on her fingers. I was a mess when I saw that. It had confirmed the sorrow in my heart. Her mum looked at me and asked if I wanted it. I said no its hers to take with her. It was our link together. I will truly miss her. I know the pain will ease in time, but I will never forget her.
Anyway I thought I'd jump on here clear my thoughts before I pick up Mitch and head home. Need to clear my eyes and wipe my face and head home. Today I reflect on the time I had with Dani, a gorgeous soul a beautiful friend and a generous person. I am thankful she did not suffer and that she is with her little boy now watching over me.

Thankyou to everyone who have posted in the forums, on here or sent emails, it means a lot to me. I think I'll have a quiet rest of the day.

A Brighter Day

Today has been brighter. I spent some time with my friend Donna and took the kids to Tri Skills Kindergym. The Kids loved it.
Then it was home for lunch then back out again to pick up some things from Scrapbook Station and met up with Janine.
Gosh she is glowing. ( Expecting she is....... a little girl ).

Then it was back off home as I had this horrid headache coming on and the kids were rowdy. So Mitch Slept on the way home. And Hayden chattered most of the way.

Tonight I finished my Layout for the Online Class I will be doing at The Scrappers Hub on Wednesday 28th March. Anyone is welcome to join it starts at 8pm.

Well it was Mum and Dad's 30th Wedding Anniversary on 12 March so I decided to remake their Wedding Album as the photos were fading and and really were not much to see. Where now they have been scrapbooked. They just have to add their own journalling.
I finished the album and placed a card with it. I wrapped a Thick White Satin Ribbon Bow around the album which was the ribbon from their wedding car. I have made a pocket at the back of their album where I'll put a CD of all their memorable songs they loved while dating upto now. When they came home from their trip away and saw it on their bed, they loved it.

I just thought it was a worthy milestone to acknowledge. To some its just another anniversary, to me it shows me the strength and love my parents have for each other. And hope it will continue for another 30 years or more.

Sad News

I received some sad news late last night. I think I am just stunned and in shock. Dani my friend that was in NT was due to come back to Adelaide next month for my birthday. She went to Hospital complaining of chest pains the other day and yesterday sometime she had a massive heartattack and she died. Her body will be flown back some time soon. And funeral sometime next week I guess. Not sure on details yet. I have not cried yet as I am still stunned and shocked in disbelief. But I know it will catch up and sink in soon. I am ok at the moment. I can barely talk (voice keeps fading and keep coughing all the time) She was a very close friend to me. She split up with her DH last year sometime and miscarried a little boy the year before at 26 weeks.
she was 29.

I wrote a poem as I don't know how else to express how I feel right now.
May the wind on your face and tossled hair

May the pain in your heart for your Angel Son vanish
For you may hold him close now.
May your eyes quietly close and breath slowly fade
As you enter into eternity in Heaven.

Quite Day

Today has been a quite day for us. DS Mitch is not very well. He was sick this morning and is slowly coming back. I have been giving him Hydrolyte (which the hospital gave me last time but apparently you can get it in chemists now). And giving him 10mls every 10mins to keep his fluids up. He has been able to keep it down for a little while now so I gave him some water with very little cordial and he's had sips of that and has kept it down.
My little angel is sleeping now poor little thing. But we have watched movies together and played with playdough with him so he isn't too bad.

But he'll stay home tomorrow regardless as I want to make sure he is ok.
So either I am home or my dad will look after him. He should be ok. But just want to make sure Mitch is over whatever he had.

I haven't done much today I had lots of plans too but since Mitch was sick this morning its gone.
But that's ok I'd rather be next to my little boy.

At least Hayden is fine. Touch wood.
He hasn't been sick for quite a while now.
Well a small incident on the second week of school he came home not well and stayed home the next day. Other than that its been a while.

I will work on my parents wedding album later and the other DT LO I have to do. My last one for MaDscraps. Then I'll get stuck into the 52 week card Challenge Vicki is doing over at the Scrapper Hub ( LC's) in Vicki's Venue. It comes from Emily Falconbridge's Blog.
I also want to do a birthday book for Mum for her birthday this Friday. My Friend did a gorgeous one for a tutorial.

So I might work on one of these while Mitch sleeps. Or do tonight.

What a Day

My poor little spud is unwell. Has been for most of the day.
Running temps and just wanting cuddles. I have done some things around the house with him tied to my leg as he was afraid I'd leave him. He wouldn't eat much today. And didnt go to bed either tonight so I have put him in my bed. And is sleeping now. DH doesn't like the kids in our bed. And I understand that. But when they are not well I like to be near them for reassurance to them. Instead of them crying out all night. Or I am on the sofa bed with him again tonight. Not sure yet what I am going to do.

Got some Cocacola promotion thing saying I've won. I think it a hoaks though. Nice to be told I've won $250,000 yeah right. DO NOT ANSWER EMAILS FROM THEM. THEY ARE FROM UK AND WANT MONEY TO PAY FOR INSURANCE. They are crap. Don't worry I didn't do it.

So Much has changed

Sorry for leaving my postings for such a long time. So much has happened and only just resettling my feet.
Well, due to various circumstances I have left MaDscraps as a Creative Angel Design Team member. I am very sad about it but not much that can be done about that. So I am back over at LC's Creative Scrapbooks as a Moderator and now run Circle Journals and Swaps. I can still do tutorials etc... so that is fine. I am also over at Scrapbook Station with the great girls there. Half of the old LC's girls have gone there too so that is nice.

I have my last Design Team Layouts coming out soon too at the end of this month. So keep a look out. I'll put up my last months DT layouts for you to see and a couple of added ones that I have done.

I have been following Vicki with the 52 Card Challenge from Emily Falconbridge which is awesome.

Amongst all the ups and downs this month something good has come through.

I am so excited can hardly contain myself. A friend of mine ask me if I could run a Scrapbooking Class for a group of her friends. I said sure. She said she'll get the girls to pay me for it just bring what they need for a class and they'll bring the basics.So I have worked out a basic LO for them to do and will Charge about $10 which includes the products. She said she has 5- 6 friends that would be interested. Wow.!

I said sure let them know how much it would be and get back to me. She spoke to me tonight and said yep lets go with it. And we are just organising a date in March to do it. So thrilled.

Maybe this can be an ongoing thing? who knows?

Hayden has started school and is doing extremely well. Going great with his reading and maybe up to the next level. I am so proud of him. Despite his speech problem he is doing really well.

And is improving all the time.

He looks so cute in his Uniform. I helped out today at the school in his class room with some craft things. It was great. I am sort of used to the craft thing and doing this sort of thing with this age group since I was previously a Joey Scout Leader with 20, 6 - 7 year olds.

Might put Mitch in Occasional Care though on Thursdays just so I am without him. And can concentrate on helping Hayden's class.

Going to the Movies this Saturday with DH Gold Class - Going to see Deja Vu with Denzel Washington (yummy), once you've been Gold Class you wont want to go back. Ours are gift vouchers for Gold Class otherwise we probably wouldn't go. And you can have alcohol woohoo.

Ok well I bombed out on Buzz and Bloom for DT but really was waiting for the last one MaDscraps. I was so estatic about it. Thankyou so much Mistra for believing in me. I hope to do well. Had a lovely holiday. Can't wait to show some photos and scrap some too.

3 Sleeps to go.

Well there is only 3 sleeps till Christmas Day.
I have my Christmas with my family on Christmas Eve so the boys are looking forward to it. They get Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

I haven't heard yet from the last 2 DT positions so maybe that will be announced early January.

We will be going away on Boxing Day with friends and family camping so that will be fun. Looking forward to it. We'll be back on the 1st Jan sometime.
Hope everyone has a wonderful xmas and a great new year. I look forward to the new year bringing new things for me.

And new things happening to LC's Creative Scrapbooks new upgrade will be unveiled on the 27th Dec. So that is only 5 days away. Unfortunately I wont be there as I'll already be away. But we'd like to have as many people there as possible online to see the unveilling. Due to the location of where I will be it wont be possible for me to log on at the time. No matter. I look forward to seeing the changes when I return. You will love it I am sure. So many things happening at this time of year its very exciting and overwhelming.

DH out tonight at his work christmas unfortunately they don't invite their partners which isn't too friendly but DH hopes to change that concept. He also got a nice bonus at work too. So maybe I can get my exerciser walker or a gym membership.
I am so thrilled at that prospect.

So its going to be a lonely night with the kids. I am bit low today, perhaps because of that and DH out and being so close to christmas I just wanted to be with him and spend time with him. I'll try to do some scrapbooking if I can. But I get a bit sooky when DH is away or out at something special at this time of year without me. Oh well that is just me.

Well there is not much time left and soon Christmas will be upon us again. Many changes and New Resolutions being formed for the New Year.

At LC's there is so much excitement going on with new upgrades going in place as we speak. A new shop format with loads of new products. So you'll have to wait till Jan 1st to see the new store. On Dec 27th the Big Surprise at LC's will be announced so make sure you are all there to find out. Its so exciting.

As for the DT positions I am still waiting on 3 places. OSS maybe in the next week or two. Buzz and Bloom and the other one wont be announcing till 1st Jan so I have to wait till then. Talk about agony waiting. Oh well just have to try to have patience for a little longer.

Kids looking forward to Christmas they have a chocolate Advent Calander - personally I liked just the glitter ones with the picture behind it. Never liked the chocolate ones.

Finished Christmas present for brother in law and his fiance. Nice coaster set of 4 that I have scrapbooked the kids in.

New and Exciting Stuff Going on at LC's

Its a buzz going on over at LC's. New things are coming and I am so excited.
Massive upgrade and facelift to freshen it up, so stay turned as December will be full of new things happening to the website. www.lcscreative.com.au

LC's will be closing their shop up over the Christmas Holidays from the 8th of December till 1st of January to make the necessary upgrades to the online shop. The shop will be open as of the 1st of January and trading as usual. It is a busy month for all. But I am excited with all the new things happening. Hopefully I will hear from the websites I applied for as DT' s soon. The suspence is killing me. LOL

Christmas is so nice I just love it. The boys are excited and Hayden put up the christmas tree with me while DH went out with Mitchell. So that was some nice special time with Hayden. At the moment at Kindy Hayden is learning the carol "Away in a Manger" and I have to sing it after a story. Oh well he likes it. Don't like I give the song much justice with my voice lol. Hayden has been asking me more and more about baby Jesus and likes the story about him. So I think it is time soon that maybe church can give him some answers I cannot give him.

Went to the Magic Cave to see Santa and go on the horse rides Nipper and Nimble. They so loved it all. Mitchell too was a little scared but still loved it enough to give Santa a high 5. From there we went to Westfield Marion with Mum and happened to go into David Jones there. Oh no another Santa. The girl asked Hayden if he'd like to see Santa and sit on his lap? Hayden's response (5yr old), I have seen you before already, remember. we laughed and Santas quick response was that's right I remember now but you can come talk to me again if you like. LOL with that Hayden went back and chattered away. Mitchell a bit perplexed in seeing another Santa and he too just chattered to him standing a metre away then waved goodbye. So cute. Can't put anything past Hayden he is so smart. It wont be long till the question is asked why are there so many Santa's mummy. LOL.

So Tired Today

Today I am so buggered and tired. My Scrapbooking Mojo / inspiration isn't working.
I have mucked up some possible DT layouts to submit for consideration.
I think I need to sleep on it and sort it out tomorrow.

Ok the next DT I applied for but haven't heard from them yet is from Buzz and Bloom.
And still another 2 Postitions to hear about.
Most will be making up their mind in mid to late Dec.
So I will let you know if I hear back from any of them.
But this is my "Dare to Dream"

I thought I'd try out for a few teams and see how I go.
If I don't get any that's fine too.
If I do I'll be estatic.

But I am in a good mood today. Yay Mistra's parcel arrived finally. So that is a relief. Hope you like it Mistra. It will look good on your scrap desk.

I have applied for 4 Design Team Positions. And have heard back from 2 so far that they are very interested in me joining their team. But I will not reveal which websites yet as I am waiting on final clarification.

LOL and you all thought I was Preggers again. Not on your life, not yet anyway - can't as I still have Implanon in my arm till xmas 2007.So hopefully I have put a spin on your thoughts now.Keep you posted. Will name the websites on the first of December. Then on the 15th Dec will announce which one I will chose to belong too.Till maybe in December I might reveal which ones.

The thing is once I know with the others where I stand I will be making a decision to only be apart of one DT out of which ever ones I get through. So you'll have to wait a little longer then I can tell you. Its not that long to go.

Anyway had a good day with the boys. Went to the shops got Hayden's b'day cake he chose. Got his hair cut $10 not too bad. Looks nice now. And came home put Mitch to bed and spent some time with Hayden. We cleaned up his room and packed his bag to go to Oma and Pa's place tonight so DH and I can go out for dinner with friends. And then we cleaned and rearranged mitch's other room then put the toys away in the family room, fixed a chair together. Then Mitch woke up. So made them lunch fritz and sauce (yuk) but that's ok and now they watching Harry Potter 2.

I am gonna see if I can squeeze a little scrap time in now.

EDM layout first for November.

This is my latest Layout for Novembers Everyday Moments competition. Pretty happy with it too. Mojo been low lately till now and just had to do this quickly well I'd been waiting for some new printer cartridges so thats another reason I haven't done much. Got another 2 EDM's to do and some other special gifts to make for xmas too.

Its a pretty cool view when you take pictures sitting looking up or on your back on the ground.

Hayden turns 5yrs old this Saturday, my gosh time is going fast. And he is off to school next year. Got Hayden a new helmet for his bike, a spiderman one. He is so into Spiderman things.
Gonna have a party for him next weekend at Wiggley Worms play cafe so that should be really good. Wish they had them in my days when I was little.

One Clue

LOL one clue now then you'll have to wait till next week ok. Firstly I am not pregnant, as highly unlikely with Implanon in my arm still. Was going to get it removed but spoke to DH and thought we'd put up with it till its due to come out Dec 2007. Don't want another kid just yet. Maybe we might try in 2008 I don't know yet.

I have found another great website to help lose weight so I am going to try that. I have a tailored meal plan and excercise plan. It works on Calories. But I need to be better with myself and really knuckle down this time. I have let myself go due to a lot of stress and many things happening around me. So I think it is really good this plan. It is by Jillian Michaels who used to be on Biggest Loser. She's a bully but I need it. So I plan on following through this time as I am sick of looking at myself wondering what to wear that will hide my excessive curves. http://www.jillianmichaels.com

More housework to do today as the house is a shambles. It's Hayden's 5th Birthday on Saturday and he is so looking forward to that. Keeps reminding me he is going to school next year.
OMG my big baby is going to school.
I hope to find some info about doing some training to become an SSO and work at the school. That would be really good.
So I might start off helping with reading and in the Library.

Exciting News

Oh I have some exciting news but I cannot say yet.
I am so busting to say something but have to keep it quiet for just a little longer.

Been helping a friend the last 2 days with a special scrap album for her mum for her 50th birthday. The layouts look great. We managed to create a total of five layouts.

Thanks Mistra for making my Banner for me its just perfect.

Been slack on the weightloss at the moment. Need to get back on the wagon. Just been a bit stressful of late so I have been resorting to anything goes. Which is bad.

I'll upload some of my recent Layouts too. I am pretty pleased with them too.

Christmas is coming, now what to do!

Hi I know its early but this is the first year I am actually organised.
Everyother year I am rushing around at the last minute finding presents. For those that need some help in making Xmas a little more personal here are some ideas I've thought about:
Make own place tags for your table
Make xmas crackers and place something special in it for them.
Make decorations to hang on tree or around the house.
Personal xmas cards are always nice to receive when you make them yourself. And are more likely to be kept for that reason.
Make a scrapbook calendar of 2007.
Decorate a nice jar put some think like rumballs in it and attach the receipe to it.
Make a special voucher for a friend to help them with something - eg. This voucher is for Free come over for a coffee and chat service or Free clean the house voucher or you know whatever you like.
Make up a photo LO and embellish it, give to a friend to hang on their wall.

Hope some of these have helped you with your organisation for a lovely Christmas this year.

List 5 weird things about yourself or your pets.

1. Our cat Tealc is really a dog in a cat's body. He follows you everywhere and pants like a dog too. (DH a Stargate fan hence the cat's name lol)

2. Every now and then our cat Sabrina gets a burr up the bum (as we call it) really she just goes nuts until Tealc bops her to snap out of it. She runs around jumps up the door jams and skids around and crashes into things. She is normally the danity little thing. LOL

3. I don't like sauce with everything unlike my DH that thinks I am weird because I don't.

4. I used to do Austrian dancing and played the Cowbells

5. I married my high school sweet heart. Might be considered weird as its not overly common. But I love him just the same and our two boys.

So much has been happening lately. So I am sorry I haven't had much chance to update here.
Went away for the long weekend and have some lovely photos that I can't wait to scrap.
I didn't get into the top 14 for the Making Memories Idol. But that is ok. Can't hurt to try.

I have been told I have been tagged so who ever tagged me needs to give me the info so I can add it.

Everything is very busy at the moment at Stationery Magic. They will be opening up the shop for people to sell scrapbooking items so it if you have some old stock that you'd like to get rid of that someone else might like keep your eyes open at Stationery Magic as it will be opening soon for everyone to buy and sell.

So many new things are happening at Stationery Magic at the moment so much upgrading and hopefully soon there will be online courses you can do.
I really excited about it and look forward to all these new things happening.

So much has been happening.
With my boys being unwell, Cat needing to see vet and probably does again.
More money on vet bills.
Organising a Scrapbooking Retreat for next year May

Steve Irwin Died today in freak accident

I really can't believe this. Not that I am a huge fan. But the fact that something like this has happened. I am shocked. I pray for his wife Terry and Bindi and Bob.
I respected him and his work although I thought was crazy. He did put his mark on Australia and will be sadly missed.
I guess the way the accident happened shocked me the most.

Next Two DT Layouts

Well now I've uploaded the next two Design Team Layouts for Stationery Magic for September.
I am pretty impressed with them. But they were hard to do as I am not good at doing Girl Layouts.
The Multiple flower one - Sweet Ness the flower placement inspiration came from my great friend Mistra as I was a bit stumped what to do with them. But turned really good.

DT Layouts for Stationery Magic

This is my second Layout actually 'Princess in Training', as I am still finalising the first one and waiting for some items to touch it up, but I will edit and upload here.

These are my Design Team Layouts for the month of September. The third on is coming - waiting for product.

The Theme is 'School' or 'Learning'. This could be learning a new technique or something you haven't done before. Which mine is that I've never really done a girly layout before. So I have used my Bestfriend Donna's little girl Vanessa.

My First one is just 'Nes' with her in a cute chick overalls and a bandana on her head. Gorgeous look. And the Fancy Pants - Frou Frou just go superb with Vanessa. She is just photogenic. I thought it would be hard to make girly layouts as I have 2 boys and my layouts are predominantly boy layouts. So it was refreshing to do a girly one.

Well it seems like is going to be a lovely day today. Sun is out.
I'll be off later today to help my friend do some more scrapbooking for her mum's album. It's a surprise for her mum's birthday.

I've almost finished my DT Layouts for Stationery Magic. I thought I'd showcase the New Range from Fancy Pants - Frou Frou. They look great
Got a few more things to do for the DT but already done most of it for Septemember.

Mitchell's Ultrasound

Well took Mitch to get his ultrasound today on his Kidneys. Before he was born he had large kidneys so they monitored it. Some fix themselves once born. Unfortunately only one went down to normal size. Did many test and they came back fine. So we went for another ultrasound today and it didn't sound too good. They are both large. But she said it might be to do with his height. He is very tall. Mitch is 23 months old on 2nd Sept and already 90cms tall. Hayden my 4 yr old might be about 110cms.
I have a paed appt next Tuesday so hopefully he can ease my worries about Mitch.

Well it has been make official now and revealled in the forum for Stationery Magic that I have been made apart of their Design Team. I look forward to working with them on special projects. They are a group of nice ladies from USA and a few other countries.

I am really itching to get started but waiting for a few things to be sorted out and it will be great. A bit nervous but I think I will be fine. It's actually given me some backing and mojo to do different things and just have a go. And I think in time will give me more confidence and new things to learn.

I went to the Scrapbooking and Stamping fair here in Adelaide at Immanuel College it was great. LC's with Lynn and Mistra were going great guns. So interesting things about the place too. Think LC's would've done a roaring trade today I just love their products. Lynn always has yummy items in her shop. Oh its so hard to leave there.
I need to get some more from her anyway.

Had a lovely time out with Lynn and Mistra last night. Great dinner then went back to Lynn's for coffee and help Mistra make a 2 yr old's birthday card which looked stunning.
I really enjoyed the chance to got out with friends as I don't normally get the chance too.
So it was a real treat. Must do it more often.

OMG I read my email today and I have been accepted as a member of the Design Team. I totally didn't expect it. When it becomes official I can then name the website. Don't want to jinx anything yet. Wow!

But this wont change how I feel about LC's website as I just adore this website too and it is so worth being apart of. So these will be my two favourite websites and I work independantly on both of them.

I will tell you more in due course.

Exciting Day

Well its been very exciting day or so.
I have won 3rd prize for a Layout I made. I won a Xyron Personal Cutting System worth $349.
And have been asked to try out for a Design Team position. I am a bit nervous as I haven't been scrapping long. But its for a USA based website.
I am excited to have been asked, maybe I'll put some details down, send some LO's and see how I go. The above Layout is what one 3rd prize. I got the inspiration of the flowers and ribbon mix from a fellow LC's DT Member Angel Vicki.

If I dont get it I wont be disappointed as I still have some time ahead of me and still learning. If I get the Guest position I'd be happy with that. Good experience to one day being in and working with a great team of people.

On a sad note, Hayden is not well didn't eat dinner and was asleep at 7pm and so I put him back down on the couch to sleep. He had a temp today too. Poor little munchkin. Put him to bed now.

Well I am out to have dinner with two great ladies tomorrow Lynn (LC's Owner) and Mistra (LC's Angel - Design Team Member) gonna have great fun without the DH's all baby sitting the kids. Looking forward to it.

A Good Day

Today has been a great day. This morning we dropped off Hayden to Kindy ( He loves Kindy). Then went home and had breakfast with Mitch. He knew we were going out and was too excited to eat breakfast and from 9am to 11am he just wanted to get into the car.
I take Mitch to Kindermusik and he does enjoy it.

We go to what they call Village, which is newborn to 18mths. We stayed in this level because it hasn't been long since he started walking and his cousin Leo 12mths and good friend Vanessa 16mths still go. Mitch is getting to the end of it so we might be dipping out of it for now and trying something else. Might try Playgroup with friend Lynn and her daughter Stephanie. Might even try Kindergym if Mitch likes it.

When the weather warms up I'll take my boys swimming again. Hayden loved it earlier in the year but stopped due to winter. So I better organise that soon.
Thought I'd try putting Hayden back into the Tadpole class and I go into the babies at the same time that way Mitch doesn't have to get bored watching Hayden do it.

I've been doing a lot of scrapbooking lately and I have so many layouts now I need to get more albums to fit them all. I find it very relaxing to scrap. At least I have found something I like to do. Was in a bit of a Lull not knowing what to do.

Thursdays are my weigh in days and even though I did not lose anything this week the cms are on their way down. Must be building some muscles. So I'm still on 77kg.

Anyway all is good. Till next time.

Up and Down week

Well its been a sort of up and down week. Mitch was sick I thought it was croup. Thank goodness it wasn't. But the poor little guy was so flat and just not himself since Friday night. He spent a few nights in our bed as he just wanted cuddles and to know I was there for him. He is only 22months old. Then he got to the travel cot Monday night and tonight he is back in his own room. And he is almost back to his normal self.

I have been working on some Fitness Challenges for the girls at LC's and we have been doing well. Great committment by the girls working on becoming healthier and fitter.

On the other hand its been a great week. Had a group of girls over for some scrapbooking work. And I am getting more working coming in too as another lady asked for another 25 cards to be made for her gift shop. Yay. Plus I have a Corporate Business wanting me to make 100 invitations for a Special Conference. So its all exciting there and going well.

I've also been busy doing a lot of Scrapbooking Layouts. I can see my style improving and changing all the time.

Hayden off to Kindy tomorrow and is so excited. He loves Kindy. We might walk there tomorrow since its going to be a lovely day of 24 degrees C. Might take the boys to the park too.

I am also trying to lose a bit of weight to become a healthier me. I would like to be fit and healthy to keep up with my boys and to get down to what I should be.
I have been dieting for a few weeks now and have lost 5kg. I plan for another 15 or so to get back into the healthy range I should be for my height. I started at 82kg and would like to be around 60kg. So I am comfortable with that. I am currently on 77kg.
I do workouts from a DVD ranging from Dance type exercise to kickboxing workouts. I also ride an exercise bike too now and then ranging from 30mins to 1 hour.
Its a great feeling you get after working out like that you feel refreshed.
So I'll let you know on the progress as I go.

Some of my most recent Layouts I have done. This on was my challenge 1 at LC's Cyber Crop last weekend. This one is called 'Looking' the journalling on it explains the photos.

The second challenge was a bit tricky because we had to use 3 of the following colours. - Hot Pink, Purple, Cyan, Orange and Red. I found this tricky to do a Boy's Layout. The found the right photo of Mitchell in a baby ball crawl. The Layout was tiring to do as I did a lot of stitching for it in the colours of Cyan, Orange and Red. The Layout is called "Too Many Balls" and too my surprise I won challenge 2.

Then the last one was to create a Layout under $6. I had no idea what I was going to do. So I found some pp (printed paper) and just started tearing and punching holes. Then I found the perfect photo of Hayden on his Great Grandpa's tractor. So I put all that together. I think my total came too about $5 or so. But it was the plainest thing I've ever done.

Thanks to Mistra, who is a Design Team Angel that organises these crop challenges at LC's it really gets your creative juices going and takes you out of your comfort zone and accomplish wonderful Layouts you never thought you could do. I love my layouts.

I am starting a little business since my invitation, cards and scrapbooking have taken off and am getting busy.

I have called it NES MITCHDEN designs. I plan to demo some of my work on here too. Just have to work out my way around this. How I got the name is my friend has a daughter called Vanessa which we call Nes or Nessie. And Mitchden is a combination of my two boys Mitchell and Hayden. I plan to have my friend Donna if she wants too (who has daughter Nes ) come on board with me as I am starting to need some help. That way she can also get a bit of money on the side since she stays at home with her little girl too.

I will put up some of my work soon.

Well today I start my Blog.
Perhaps I'll start with a little about myself and what I like doing.

My nickname for most forums I am on is Sharai. This name is actually from Stargate SG - 1 it is the name of Daniel's wife who is abducted by Apoffice (sp?) the Gaold. She is very pretty and I am a fan as well as my DH. And I liked her name. My DH's Cat is named Tealc.

My real name is Leanne but prefer Lea. I have been known as Lea since my High School Days. I finished High School in 1995 in year 12 Seaview High School.

I married my High School sweetheart Sam, on October 14 2000. We have two beautiful boys Hayden turning 5 in November this year and Mitchell turning 2 in October. After I had Mitch I took my 12 months maternity leave then extended it to a career break for another year. Just recently in June I resigned from Australia Post and now just work one day a week for my Dad who owns an Australia Post Shop at a University. Otherwise I am happy to be a Stay at home mum. I love being with my boys.
They are my pride and Joy and very well behaved most of the time.
Hayden looks more like his Dad and Mitch looks more like my Dad or Mitch calls him Pa.

I love Scrapbooking, I have only just started doing this in March 2006. I used to be very good at Art at School but never was able to pursue it after I finished. So now scrapbooking has become my passion again and I also do invitations and cards for people and businesses.
